	Navigation

	The text links include a description box informing the user where the linkwill go. This can be viewed by placing the pointer over the line of text.

Online Forms

	Fields denoted by an * (asterisk) must be filled in in order for the form to be accepted.

Site Specification

	The standard outline guide for the site was for an SVGA resolution monitor (800 x 600) using 16 bit colours. The site is still quite accessible with specifications lower than these.

Browser Compatibilities

	vat.gov.mt uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to format the textual information within each page. Only browsers from version 4 upwards fully understand CSS formatting.

Bookmarking Pages

	To bookmark a particular page the user selectsFavorites, Add to Favorites from the menu option within Microsoft IE or Bookmarks,Add Bookmarks in Netscape.

Saving Pages

	Any page displayed on your browser can be saved to your local drive. Select File, Save as from the menu option within Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) and Netscape

File Formats

	Documents in .PDF format require the Adobe Acrobat Reader program which can be freely downloaded from the Adobe website by clicking here. Documents in .PPT format require Microsoft PowerPoint. If you dont have this program you may freely download the PowerPoint Viewer program from the Microsoft website by clicking here.
