ECO - Contribution
During the year 2004 the VAT Department was appointed as the Competent Authority to administer the ECO-Contribution System.

The ECO-Contribution regulations came into force on the 1st September 2004, after the ECO-Contribution Act XII and ECO-Contribution Regulations of 2004 were published on the 13th and 30th August 2004 respectively in the Government Gazette.
